When you're smiling

As everyone expected. It was the green gummy.

(See yesterdays photo to get the back story: flickr.com/photos/venatheous/2566409890/)

Today I cleaned up the mess, sure I could have done it yesterday, but I was hoping that the guilty party would show themselves. I was wrong. So as I said, I cleaned it up and began to hang the lights out on the patio. The entire time, I kept the gummies inside. Part due to the fact that it was in the 90’s (so said the weather lady) and I didn’t want them melting. And part because I didn’t want them messing with anything and having
another bulb break.

I was only out there a half hour and twice I had to come in for a glass of water and my chest was getting heavy. Asthma kicking in. It never got to the point where I needed to use my inhaler, but I still didn’t like it. I also just felt off. So I laid in the huge bean bag we have in our living room. I closed my eyes, but could still here the gummies
making noises. Not sure what it was, but I wasn’t feeling up to seeing. A few minutes of laying there and one little gummy climbed up the bag and stood right across from me. I opened my eyes and this is what I saw.

That face said it all.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or... I don’t know what. I just closed my eyes and rolled back over.
